HANDMADE IN OAKLAND

Behind the shadow of Silicon Valley, sits a burgeoning, talented community from top chefs to world renowned artisans. We hear very little about the Maker and Craft community. Handmade in Oakland aims to focus on four such Makers, in three mediums—woodworking, jewelry design, and ceramics. These four women, just across the city by the bay, have created thriving businesses around their craft and continue to show the world that handmade objects are still as special as they are one of a kind.
