Visual System - corporate social responsibility Report | STUDENT WORK

Whole Foods Market

The Whole Foods Market—now a subsidiary of Amazon, is the largest US based and global natural health foods store chain that seeks the finest natural and organic foods while maintaining a strict quality of industry standards. Through its mission and core values, Whole Foods’ aim and purpose is to “Nourish people and the planet.”

DESIGN OBJECTIVE:
Create a visual identity and develop a written and visual CSR Report for the Whole Foods Market that will help inform and motivate its customers, employees, partners, and stakeholders of their company values and business practices.

PROJECT CONCEPT:
Currently, Whole Foods does not have a separate written CSR Report, but they do specifically state on their website a version of what their “CSR” goals are: Responsible Sourcing, Environmental Stewardship, and Community Giving. These goals are so thoroughly ingrained in their every day business practice that to them it’s no longer Corporate Social Responsibility, but the main pillars of how they run their company—in short, at Whole Foods Market, CSR is just business as usual.
